IMTC created and built the web site that supports the monthly, one-hour radio program “Lifeline to Health." This program, broadcast state wide in Georgia on WCLK (91.9 FM) Radio in conjunction with Georgia Public Radio, strives to educate listeners on how to improve and maintain their health by providing interactive call-in segments, health/fitness news, and feature stories on current health issues, particularly as they relate to ethnic minorities and medically under-served populations in Georgia. It is produced by the Georgia Office of Minority Health and WCLK. The Office of Technology Policy and Programs, located at the Georgia Centers for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) aids the program’s production staff in their research efforts to find important current topics for discussion. IMTC updates the site on a regular basis to reflect recent issues discussed on the radio program.
