IMTC is now offering media production services in the areas of video, photography, poster printing, and print work for the Georgia Tech campus and Corporate clients.

Latest IMTC News

  • December 25, 2007: United States Patent #7311675 was awarded for the "Systems and methods for mobile activity monitoring." The patent covers the wheelchair weight shift training system resulting from collaboration between GT and the Shepperd Center.  This invention helps individuals in wheelchairs avoid deadly pressure sores by teaching them how and when to perform weight shift exercises.
  • Maribeth Gandy will be giving a tutorial on Wearable Computing for Persons with Disabilities at the International Symposium for Wearable Computing (ISWC 2007) on Oct. 11, 2007 in Boston, MA.
  • July, 2007: The Gates of Paradise interactive Kiosk is now up and running at the Art Institute of Chicago. Museum staff followed detailed instructions provided by IMTC and customized the physical appearance to match their space.
  • The June 4, 2007 edition of the "The Whistle," Georgia Tech's faculty newpaper, featured an article on The Gates of Paradise interactive Kiosk.
  • April 28, 2007 - IMTC installed the The Gates of Paradise interactive Kiosk for the High Museum's opening of their Lorenzo Ghiberti: The Gates of Paradise exhibit. The kiosk will continue to tour with the exhibit to the the Art Institute of Chicago and on to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
