IMTC has developed
a prototype CD-ROM based training for Lever Brother's Cartersville,
Georgia soap plant. The factory, is one of the most automated in
the country. The training system allows employees to learn about
the machinery and actually simulate the operations of key systems
through photo-realistic virtual reality. Lever's current training
methods require halting the manufacturing lines to allow new employees
to learn the equipment. Our new approach should save time and money,
and increase employee knowledge and productivity.
