IMTC developed
a database driven World Wide Web site for the Michael C. Carlos
Museum at Emory University. The site, located at www.carlos.emory.edu,
allows the user to examine the Carlos' collection of 19th and 20th
Century Sub-Saharan African Art. The web site allows users to call
up textual information about the objects as well as photographs
of the objects. The site will soon be expanded to include the Carlos'
entire collection of over 16,000 objects ranging from the Ancient
Egypt to Mesoamerica to modern times.
