IMTC developed
a museum-wide database system for the Michael C. Carlos Museum
at Emory University. The system is designed to support all of the
Museum's departments, including Education, Administration, Registration,
Curatorial and Conservation. The database provides a number of
advanced multimedia features, including the ability to store photographs
of objects in the collection, photos showing the various stages
of the conservation of an object, and video clips related to an
object. The database is available throughout the museum's offices,
and a subset of the database is on the World Wide Web.
