The Moving Image
Collections (MIC) is an integrated online catalog of moving images
held by a variety of organizations, including libraries, museums,
archives and television broadcasting companies.
MIC features include:
- Union catalog of moving images, including
films, videos, and digital streaming video
- Searchable directory
of organizations with moving image collections
- Portals for
archivists, educators and other communities
- Search displays
combining information about services and access to collections
with title and collection information.
IMTC will
be developing the search engine, dynamic web portal technology,
and
the user interface for the Moving Image Collections (MIC) project.
