This photo at the North American IPv6 Summit 2004,
shows two attendees carrying on a conversation while the CharmBadges communicate
their ID to each other as an interaction and keep track of the length
of the interaction. Since an interaction might be recorded just in
passing, the CharmBadges were programmed to only record an interaction
if it lasted more that 10-15 seconds. For the test of the CharmBadge at
the Summit, the CharmBadges worked without intervention by the attendee.
In the future, a button may be added to ensure the interaction is recorded
and the interaction set as higher priority for follow up.
